we've gotten plenty of work done recently I just get dumb and forget to take pictures to prove it... we're aiming to have the bowl done by September 15th... I go back to school that day... I'm gonna make video games. UUUUUUUHHUHUHHHUHUHUHUHU... this week coming not much work will get done because kyle will be on vacation as well as skank but the following week we will put the finishing touches on the skeleton and begin to ply the ramp...or particle it anyways. This will easily be the most badass thing in gloucester

I was injured

OK. I got a piece of wood in my eye while working my ass off on this ramp. on a 1 to 10 scale of irritation it was probably a 7. DONT WORRY. Im alright. I just dont want anyone to stress over my health. I was back on my feet within a few hours. I have procured safety goggles. SAFETY IS THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY ON ANY JOB SITE.

This is the vert Kyle built a while back. Ive almost reached the copying but i always pussy out. Kyle rips it. Its right next to the bowl. We're gonna build a quarter from the deck of the bowl up to the back of the vert deck.

The Laying of the Keel

Getting started with the flat on the five. I was really surprised with how accurate the curve came out. I can't wait to get some transitions built and see just how bad ass this thing can be. Tubez.

Ultrasound

Our first complete sketch of Tubez got blown away but we drew this up on AutoCAD to get a real idea of what we were really building. All the holes will be filled in when we actually build it but we didnt feel like drawing it out. The bowled section with the extension is 6 feet tall. Im pretty sure we decided on the extension being 8 feet and it'll go vert. The rest of the bowl will be 5 feet. Tubez.

Me and Kyle had brain sex

This December we skated a bowl at YDG skatepark in NC. I fell in love with a new kind of skating and Kyle i guess probably just learned to love it more. We came back to Virginia and by March (after losing our skate sanctuary [R.I.P. SLAB]) with a little inspiration from  http://www.bowlsurgeon.blogspot.com/ motivation from Skank, and tax returns, we decided it was time for us to birth a bowl. TheTubeSock was conceived.
